Podcasts

Considering that not all of you live in Auckland or sometimes have other commitments that stop you from being able to attend our meetings we thought that it was about time that we started offering our lectures to you in the form of podcasts.

You will notice that there is a new page here on our website, click on the Podcasts button and you will see our latest talk by Dr Stephen May. (Note the link does take you to an external website).

Feel free to stream online, or to download and listen to the podcast during your commute or daily run.

Feel free to leave comments, we would love to hear your thoughts.

Sarah Coakley

We have decided to postpone the Sarah Coakley conference for a year. Apologies to those who were already planning to come.  Sarah Coakley is the Norris- Hulse Professor of Divinity at Cambridge University, and will deliver the Gifford lectures at St Andrews this year.

Sarah will now come to New Zealand in December 2013. The dates will be Dec 11-13 or thereabouts.

Next year there will be two big publications under Sarah’s name. Evolution, Games and God (Harvard University Press) edited with Martin Nowak, is on the principle of cooperation in evolution, and God, Sexuality and Self: Essays on the Trinity (Cambridge University Press)  is the first of her systematic theologies. We hope to have a forum in which we interact with this work.
